First, you will complete intake and detailed health history forms. If necessary, you will be referred for x-rays or other diagnostic testing. We will then develop a personalized treatment plan designed to help maximize your healing process. If it is determined your problem is beyond the scope of our practice the Doctor will make the appropriate referral to one of the many health care practitioners we work with.

How long will treatment take?

The length of your treatment will depend on a number of factors including:

  1. length of time you have experienced your current condition
  2. your health history
  3. your current health
  4. nature or your work activities
  5.  activities of daily living
  6. and your level of commitment to following your prescribed treatment plan.

Treatment could range from a couple visits to several months for a more complicated case.

Our goal is to help you achieve maximum health/wellness in the shortest amount of time possible and to give you the tools to manage and improve your human potential.

Is Chiropractic care effective and safe?

Yes. Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of back pain, neck pain, joint pain of the arms or legs, headaches, and other neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects.

A March 2004 study in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics found that chiropractic care is more effective than medical care at treating chronic low-back pain in those patients who have been experiencing the symptoms for one year or less. In addition, a study published in the July 15, 2003, edition of the journal Spine found that manual manipulation provides better short-term relief of chronic spinal pain than a variety of medications.

Does treatment hurt?

We make every attempt to use the most gentle procedures. Any discomfort is usually temporary.

What techniques do you use?

  • Drop Table Technique

Can children / seniors be treated?

Yes. Chiropractic treatment is for people of all ages. Although children’s tissues are generally resilient, many would benefit from chiropractic treatment to restore normal function or alleviate pain from injuries. With growing concerns regarding the effects of combining various drugs for seniors, chiropractic treatment is more important than ever. Restoring spinal function can improve mobility, vitality and endurance. Many of our seniors report improvement in arthritic symptoms and other ailments associated with aging.
